Furthermore, the mixer includes four dedicated send channels that provide the ability to sidechain inputs to multi-input effects plug-ins.

This plugin is amazing, really. Was having problems with a very distorted sound in my current mix, while trying to match levels of some late metal albums (using albums by Andy Sneap as reference).
Tried Reaper limiter, registered version of Barricade, W1, Loudmax, demos of Waves ones and Mellowmuse (which has some nice character) – but all destroyed the sound.Inserted Limiter No6 in the channel, and firstly, still not sounded good. Patiently tuned each section from zero and – voila! Had a clean sound, with amazing transients and with the same level of Accept’s Blood of the Nations album. For producers with budget problems, I must say this is an essential addition!Thank you so much.Arthur (Brazil). Hello and thank you for your amazing tools! Especially the Limiter No. 6 – i got hooked to it instantaneously and it is my go-to Master-Bus Limiter from now on.
I don’t need no other limiter anymore (and I tried a lot from Waves L2/L3 to Oxford Limiter and what not). The Compressor Limiter Part works so charmingly well together and the GUI no.
2 fits my taste perfectly. It’s a great compromise between graphics (thanks for the VU Meters!), simplicity and usability. I should mention the small-screen friendly size, too. I don’t like unnecessary big plugin GUIs.I have a question though: I read in one of your comments on this blog that you have a commercial version in mind. Since you teamed up with Tokyo Dawn Labs and you’re working on a new version of the plugin, will this be free or will it be the commercial version you mentioned in the comments section? If that would be the case I would just wait for the plugin and buy it on this way.
🙂Thank you for your amazing work! Right now I’m working on commercial AAX version of Limiter6. It’ll be released under Tokyo Dawn Labs label. This commercial version will also include VST/AU. The functionality of this version is mostly the same but extended a bit (threshold control for compressor, A/B settings, preset manager, undo/redo and so on). I have plans to continue development of Limiter6 either in a form of version with reduced knobs (simpler to use) or in a form of a bundle where each Limiter section is a separate plugin with extended functionality. Hi!First: A big warm and thankful thank!
(yup!) 🙂I can’t remember how I found your plugins, perhaps when I was looking for a brickwall limiter Or, when I was crawling on the web at 3 a.m. Between 2 song mixes 🙂 Anyway, since they have AU versions, I’ve used them on most of my mixes. I really like how they sound. But, since the last Logic Pro X (10.0.7), when I put the Limiter N°6 (and sometimes Molot) on any track, my DAW goes AWOLSo, I went back to the 10.0.6, andSometimes it closes, and I see the “The application quit unexpectedly” pop-up, sometimes it just closes and does nothing more, sometimes my DAW continues to work and tells me “Failed to load Audio Unit, please contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance” and sometimes It just works! It’s kind of weird.Do you have a bugtracking system? Somewhere where we can put our crashlogs? It might be a user error on my side, but Limit nr6 does not work in Linux/Wine. Reaper loads the plugin and the audio works, but the gui never shows.
I can change the parameters with the UI switcher of Reaper but the VU’s never show which make the plugin quite unuseable. The same thing happens with your Molot plugin. I’ve been using your plugins besides the stock plugins for some more color on Windows and Mac but recenty made a Linux machine to do my audio stuff.
Anyway, I hope there is a fix out there. Thanks again for the nice plugins!
